When the spirit moves you…

“To know yourself as the BEING underneath the thinker, the stillness underneath the mental noise, the love and joy underneath the pain, is freedom, salvation, enlightenment.” –Eckhart Tolle

One of the most challenging concepts for my clients to embrace is making time to sit (or walk) in silence.

In our fast-paced society, many of us have been conditioned to believe DOING is the most productive way to live, and the quicker we can get something done, the better.

We also have increasingly conditioned ourselves through technology to live distracted, settling for quick access to others (which is often a surface, rather than an “authentic” connection).  A text message, email, or Facebook “like” will never replace the longing many of us have for others to be present to us in more meaningful ways.  Listening with full attention is one of the greatest gifts we can give another.

Transformation, and living life to the fullest, occurs by spending more moments BEING, learning to sit with ourselves in quiet.   Ideally, we benefit by at least 20 minutes of alone time daily DOING NOTHING. At least 40 minutes of silence daily is even better!

In the quiet, we get messages and guidance. We connect to our inner wisdom, where we access Spirit, Source, Infinite Intelligence, God or whatever name we have for the power greater than our ego selves.

I have been changed greatly through a deep transformational journey in moving cross-country 16 months ago, and deconstructing “who” I thought I was to create space to become a fuller expression of my essence.

Enormous amounts of time were spent in solitude, many of them of late walking the labyrinth below releasing more of the old to welcome the new.

As a result, in my coaching, I now integrate mind, body and spirit in more profound ways and often take clients offsite to help them better connect with their own truths.

Here are some recent testimonials from those who experienced my new levels of coaching:

“Intuitive. Remarkable. Amazing. Profound. Validating. Transformational. These are just a few words to describe working with Gail. One three-hour session with Gail was equal to a year’s worth of work.

Through her depth of listening and support, I felt held in a sacred space of ‘being’ where I was seen, validated and celebrated.

She began by using her proprietary Rewriting the Script tool that brings people to the subconscious to release their untapped limiting beliefs. It was truly transformational.

Beyond clearing old beliefs, Gail found the right words to instill new beliefs to SHIFT me into a right, more powerful mindset. It was profound.

Then, she did something else truly unique to align mind, body and spirit in the healing process.

She moved our session to be outside in nature, on the beautiful grounds of a nearby spiritual renewal center.

Gail’s loving, compassionate, and highly skilled process helped me SHED what was holding me back so I could show up fully alive and lead this Revolution. It’s Gail and God. What a dynamic and powerful team!” –Kathy Dempsey, Founder, The Shedding Revolution, Scottsdale, AZ, and one of the five top keynote speakers in healthcare, www.keepshedding.com

“I learned more in one session with Gail than years of other types of counseling.  She caught blocks no one else had captured before—she has an intuitive gift of creating fast breakthroughs… I am so excited to be well on my way now to a new version of my own ‘Happily Ever After.’  This inner work, the time I took to pause inwardly (even while running a business), has been such an investment in myself, with such great dividends.”Cindy Kemp, entrepreneur, Scottsdale and Sedona, AZ.

I hope I’ve inspired you (or reminded you) to create some pauses for silence and BEING in your own life, where the true riches await your discovery.

Blessings,

Gail

    Gail,
I am forever grateful to you for all of your wisdom and advice during our many telephone sessions but always enjoyed our wonderful sessions on the beach of Plum Island. Seems like I need to get to Arizona to experience your hikes. I am in such a better place in my life because of you. Thank you again Gail.
    Hugs
    Donna

Donna: I am so happy to hear from, and thrilled your life is unfolding in new and beautiful ways. I still coach by phone if you ever get stuck…there’s something special about the virtual connection as well. Keep in touch. Big hugs back to you! Gail
